A site approximately 25 acres in size containing a mixture of industrial and residential structures. A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment discovered multiple recognized environmental conditions at the site, mostly related to past uses of the site that resulted in potential releases of various contaminants into the environment. Subsequent investigations discovered chlorinated solvents in the soil and groundwater. An environmental covenant has been enacted on the site to prevent the installation of groundwater wells, and monitoring is ongoing to observe the biodegradation of the chlorinated solvents that appears to be occurring at the site. Additionally, a vapor intrusion investigation has been conducted to ensure that the neighboring residential properties are not at risk from the plume.
