Summary


On October 21, 1985 a fuel transmission pipeline, owned by Williams Pipe Line Company was struck and punctured by a contractor removing dirt from the Fullenworth Property. The release was reported to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and assigned spill number 10215-DJA-0942. As a result of the puncture, a total of 23,000 gallons of gasoline were released. Emergency response activities by Williams recovered approximately 7,000 gallons of liquid gasoline and an unknown amount during soil excavation activities. After completion of remedial actions the site was closed in January 2002.
