I talked to several of the builders in the city of peosta last week, and they thought a Storm Water permit wasn't necessary because of being within the city of peosta. On tuesday 9/20/16 we installed silt fences and directed water to an existing retention area. We also started moving dirt, but by tuesday night i found out we needed a Number 2 permit. I then contacted Clark in the Manchester office on Wednesday and he advised me to discontinue any further work until i had a proper Storm Water Discharge Permit #2. We haven't done any more work there since although I am keeping a eye on the silt fence and retention area, considering all the rain we have had. I respectfully request a permit.
