Welcome to the Iowa DNR State and Local Emissions Inventory System (SLEIS), a web-based application that allows permitted facilities to compile and submit point source emissions inventory data.

SLEIS supports newer versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge browsers.

Registration and Forms
Registration for SLEIS requires that you download and complete the provided registration forms using the links below. After you have completed the forms, please make a copy of the forms and mail the originals to the address indicated on the top of the forms. When we receive your registration forms, the information will be entered into SLEIS, and you will receive an email with a link to create your initial account password. The password must be between 8 and 30 characters long, and include at least one number, one uppercase letter, and one lowercase letter. After creating the password, you can login to SLEIS.

The purpose of this document is to describe the SLEIS file import process and flat file specification.
