2/20/2014	I contacted Van Diest Supply Company and talked to Carl King, Plant Engineer. Carl talked to Lee Trask, VP for Van Diest and asked Lee to call DNR FO 2. Lee called to get a specific location that the application was taking place and commented that he thought some of the agronomic staff may be working in that area. Lee called back and confirmed that the Van Diest agronomic department was applying potash to field(s) east of Eagle Grove. I contacted Sandy McGrath to let her know that we had verified that it is agricultural fertilizer being applied. No further action required.	DAN BRATRUD
