5/26/2010	On 05/20/10, via phone, I contacted Eugene. The small fish kill he discribed did not appear to be run off related. I provided DNR-Fisheries-Manchester phone number for technical assistance.	TOM MCCARTHY
2/17/2010	Doug Hawker, FO1; Dave Bierman, DNR-Fisheries and I met Eugene Burken at his farm pond. We noted O2 levels from 1.3 to 3.9 ppm. Ammonia nitrogen was approximately 1 to 2 ppm. We noted no dead fish. We suggested Eugene install grass buffers around the pond to reduce run off. I noted solid manure application up hill from the pond. I noted no run off. I visited with Roger Kilburg, via phone. Roger agreed to no longer apply manure in the watershed of Eugene's pond. He stated one other landowner applies manure in this drainage. I informed Eugene of my investigation. No further work is needed from FO1 at this time.	TOM MCCARTHY
