7/9/2015	Randy wondered what they were going to do with all their manure/bird compost material since they have to have it land applied by January 1, 2016. I told him how to take a representative sample of the composted material and since it contains a lot of corn stalks, oat hulls, wood and dead birds it may not have a very high N or P content and it can be land applied at a much higher rate than normal. As long as it can be shown to be applied at agronomic rate we will accept that. He said he didn't think he could even give it away as people are scared of it, so he would need to apply on a limited land base.	CINDY MARTENS
