6/18/2015 On 06/17/2015 at ~1458 Mr. David Westlund contacted the Field Offfice to report that they had an upset that resulted in visible emissions. Per Mr. Westlund, they did not exceed thier limits. The puspose of the call was for information purposes. The following was provided: 1. Start Time: 1330 2. End Time: 1340 3. Unit or EP: EP 23 (Melting & Hold Furnaces) 4. Opacity: Estimated 20% 5. Cause: Holes in the socks of the bagfilter. 6. Actions Taken: The unit was isolated and repairs would be made. Mr. Westlund was informed that I would follow up after I discussed it with Kurt Levetzow as to whether it should be reported as an excess emission or assistance. On 06/17/2015 at ~0821 I left a voice message for Mr. Westlund. At ~0900 Mr. Westlund contacted the Field Office. Mr. Westlund was informed that the incident would be reported as an assitance and did not require a written report. MARK HEIDERSCHEIT
