12/16/2014	Dawson had questions on filling out the MOR form. We discussed these matters and Dawson said that he was pretty sure that he now knew what to do. Dawson also said that he has been increasing the chlorine feed rate, but still hasn't been able to get any residuals in the distribution system in the processing building. He said he can get a total chlorine residual of 2.0 mg/l at the first tap after chlorination and only once did he get a reading of 0.2 mg/l at the office sink. He said that Mort's told him it could take awhile to see a residual throughout the system. I told him that it was possible that iron deposits in the lines could be exerting a chlorine demand and that until this material was completely oxidized he might not get stable residuals. I asked about ammonia and Dawson stated that ammonia was not detected in the raw well water. I told him to contact Tom Madden if chlorine residuals were still not present in the distribution system in another month.	GLENN CARPER
