6/3/2013 Josh called to inform the FO that while observing the wastewater lagoon system he noticed that there is a very slight trickle coming into the effluent well. He does not believe it is due to a leaking valve from the lagoon but thinks it is groundwater. He is also concerned about the levels of the lagoon that have risen dramatically in the last month due to rain water. I suggested he get his pre-discharge samples taken as soon as possible as the acceptable discharge period ends June 15. Josh is going to have the contractor that built the lagoons investigate what the cause of incoming water to the effluent well is. I asked that after this is done he report back to the FO with the determination and plan of action to be taken. CHRISTOPHER GELNER
