12/14/2023	12/14/2023 1211: Received a call from Jimmy Cresswell on the DNR cell phone. Jimmy indicated that he cleaned up the soils around the buildings and also pumped out much of the water in the secondary containment. He informed me that he took two dump trucks (~32 tons) of soil out and spread that on his fields. He mentioned there is about 500 gallons of water remaining in the secondary containment and wanted to know what he could do with that. I suggested he let it fill up again with rainwater and then test for ammonia with a strip test that he can probably get off Amazon. And if it is less than 1.5 ppm of ammonia in the water in the secondary containment at that time then he can release it. I went over some of the findings that Ryan relayed to me regarding spilllage around the northe edge of the north barn and some around the south barn and making sure to scrap those areas as well. He mentioned he still has a little more work to do and will send pictures of the cleanup. He also mentioned that he trimmed much of the vegetation in the secondary containment so he could ensure the cleanup was done well. I suggested he keep that vegetation trimmed back to allow for better observations of the water in the secondary containment.	JON RYK
