Someone in the Iowa DNR will run the numbers to determine if there is a running annual average exceedance. Remember, compliance is not based on one high value; rather a locational running annual average. Was it DB01 on Gerald that was high? Based on all four quarters, it looks like the average would be under the MCL--68.15 ug/L. Since Madrid is on quarterly monitoring, if a single quarterly result is at or above 0.080 mg/L for TTHM or 0.060 mg/L for HAA5, the Operational Evaluation Level (OEL) must be calculated for that quarter and for the next three quarters. The calculation is as follows: OEL = [(2 x current quarter’s result )+ last two quarterly results] / 4 On Tue, Aug 23, 2022 at 7:41 AM MCH W plant <waterplant@madridiowa.org> wrote: I got email this morning that TTHM for on of my samples were 80.4 ug/L do you want me to retest that sample JANET GASTINEAU
