The following projects are currently advertised for bids. Interested bidders may find general information about each project, as well as printable actual Contract Documents in PDF format. The general information is the same project description provided to Newspapers and by direct mail solicitations. The Contract Documents include the Drawings and the entire Project Manual. Drawings can be printed on any regular or large format printers. The Project Manual includes Proposal Forms, Front End Documents, General and Supplementary Covenants, and Technical specifications. All these are also completely printable.
Effective October 2009, the Department will no longer be responsible for providing hard copy notice to bidders or addenda to either contractors or plan rooms. An email listserv has been created to communicate electronically with vendors currently on file with the DNR. As a member of this listserv, you will receive electronic notice to bidder information on a regular basis.

This project consists of PCC (~500 LF) and HMA (~4.3 miles) crack and joint cleaning and filling. A bituminous fog seal on HMA surfaces, approximately 172 ton of HMA road widening and 190 ton of transverse joint repair. Approximately 170 ton of granular surfacing and 70 ton of granular shoulder material. Three painted symbols are also included.
This project consists of repairing wind and wave erosion to thirteen fishing jetties at Lake Icaria by placing 2,475 tons of Class "E" riprap on the side slopes of jetties, 345 tons of crushed rock surfacing on the tops of jetties, and incidental work as required by the Plans and/or the DNR Construction Inspector.
The State Forestry Nursery Building restroom will have the restroom area renovated. Part of the Break Room 105 will be used as an expansion of the restroom area and installation of a new kitchenette area. There will be four alternates: #1 will consist of a new toilet in Restroom 120, #2 will consist of washer and dryer electric and plumbing in Mechanical 126, #3 will consist of reroofing the entry vestibule 100, and #4 will consist of replacing all ceiling tiles and lighting in the public areas. This renovation will update the currently aged interior of the State Nursery office.

This project is designed to provide a solar powered site light for the existing boat ramp and parking lot on the west bay of Silver Lake in Dickinson County, Iowa. Work under this project includes installation of a 24" PCC light pole base, 20' galvanized steel light pole, and the solar light with accessories.

This project will consist of the construction of a new check-in kiosk at the Lake Anita State Park campground area. The kiosk shall be made from nominal lumber which is cedar-tone treated as shown in the drawings. There shall be a concrete slab and concrete footings for the kiosk as shown.

This project will restore the Takes Wetlands area west of Buffalo Creek, northwest of Coggon, Iowa. The project includes constructing an approximately 1,145-feet long, 3-4' high berm with material on-site, an overflow structure and a water control structure per plans and NRCS Specifications.

This project consists of removal of a 18" CMP riser and replacing with a 4'x4' concrete riser with sluice gate. The existing 12" CMP conduit will be lined with Innerflow HDPE liner.
