Active retail site for bulk and packaged row crop production products, lawn care products, and propane that has been operating as such since the 1970's. As a result of the site use, Nitrate-Nitrite, Ammonia, Acetochlor, Atrazine, Metolachlor, and Alachlor have been detected in the groundwater and the site was enrolled in the Chapter 133 Program until contaminant plumes can be demonstrated to be stable or decreasing. Approximately 3,900 cubic yards of contaminated soil was removed from the site in 1996 and semi-annual groundwater sampling is ongoing to monitor site conditions until plume stability can be demonstrated.
