The site is a former landfill that accepted construction debris, among other waste types, along with scrubber dust/sludge, which EPA found to be a hazardous waste. Investigative activities at the site have discovered metals and semi-volatile organic compounds in soil as well as volatile organic compounds in groundwater in excess of applicable regulatory standards. The site was enrolled in the LRP in 2001.
