DNR received Phase I/II LSI Reports for property transaction and submitted to Pre-CERCLA for approval to add to Work Plan. Approval granted 9/16/26. Sampling indicated soil arsenic concentrations exceed Iowa SWS of 1.9 mg/kg for all 3 samples while groundwater exceeded the lead MCL and SWS. No receptors are known to exist in area, but neither the city nor county have approved well ordinances. DNR recommended to move the site under state oversight (Chap. 105) and to complete an EC for well restrictions. Paperwork submitted to EPA on 10/20/26.
