This site was formerly vacant agricultural land that contained a church from around 1994 until it was razed around 2019. Kwik Trip Inc purchased the site in 2025 with the intent of constructing a Kwik Star gas station, and completed a Phase I and Phase II ESA prior to purchase. No RECs were identified at the site, and analytical results for soil and groundwater did not return any detections of VOCs or TEH other than one low detection of total TEH in soil at one location. DNR review determined that no apparent risk is presented to human health or the environment and did not require any additional assessment at this time.
