A former residential/commercial property that previously contained a woodworking shop, homes, and a YMCA. During demolition of the former YMCA building, a small area of contaminated soil was discovered near the basement wall that was likely from a former UST at the location. The soil was removed and replaced with imported fill, and a subsequent limited site investigation did not discover any other contamination in soil or groundwater at the property. DNR reviewed the site under the initial site screening program and does not require any additional assessment at this time.
