An unimproved lot near Interstate 35 in Clear Lake. The site is surrounded by commercial properties including a Gas Station, Marine Service Shop, Carwash, and ASTs. The site itself has primarily been used for storage, and RECs identified include a neighboring LUST, neighboring UST, general use of neighboring properties, and potential storage/disposal of contaminated waste at the site. I limited site investigation found low levels of petroleum and VOCs, but none at levels that present an unacceptable risk to human health and the environment. The site was given a Priority 3 in the Initial Site Screening Process with no additional assessment required at the time.
