The subject property is a former industrial site located in Davenport, Iowa south of Federal Street and generally between LeClaire and Farnam Streets. The subject property has the street address of 450 LeClair Street and is illustrated in Appendix A, as Figure 1. The site has undergone several phases of assessment, remediation and reporting and is currently developed as a multi-unit housing development. Certain areas of the subject property have identified low concentration contaminants remaining in soils at the site. The contaminants have been evaluated and pose little risk to occupants or workers at the site. To protect site occupants, specific environmental covenants have been written, approved by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR), and attached and recorded with the deed to the subject property.
