This site has long been referred to as Blum Salvage. In May 2026, the original site (411 E 15th St.) was been split into two parcels (1550 Elm St. and 455 E 15th St.). 1550 Elm St. will continue under the LRP as Iowa Coffin. 455 E 15th St. will become a new site under State Lead authority named Blum Scrapyard and Recycling. The City hopes to enroll the Blum Scrapyard into the LRP at a future time.
