This site was a foundary in the late 1800's . A hotel and restaurant are currently at the site. All of the remaining site is paved for parking. A former manufacted gas plant (FMGP) was to the north. Three monitoring wells were installed on northern boundary of the hotel site and one on the hotel property during FMGP site investigations. Naphalene has been detected in groundwater above statewide standards in one monitoring well. Soil sampling across the site indicate benzo (a) pyrene concentrations above statewide standard the west and east.
