Wapsipinicon River Troy Mills (REMAP #65)
Invert Sampling Series #2529
A sampling series is a set of benthic macroinvetebrate sessions that are used to generate an Index of Biotic Integrity (IBI). A standard series will contain 3 quantitative sessions and one qualitative session. However, sometimes quantitative replicates are lost in the field, buried, or otherwise damaged enough not to be included in a series. There may even be an extra replicate collected and included in the series. This is rare and typically only occurred during the early stages of the biological assessment program.

Comments
The river was too low to for our boat to access the site, but too deep at the site (it is the upper end of an impoundment) to wade.
