Prior to the 2008 IR cycle, this segment had only the Class B(CW) coldwater aquatic life designated use. Due to changes in Iowa’s surface water classification approved by U.S. EPA in 2008, this segment now has presumptive Class A1 primary contact recreation and Class A2 secondary contact recreation designated uses. This segment also has Class BCW1 coldwater aquatic life and Class HH (human health/fish consumption) designated uses.
