Steps to create a support ticket:

    When does my certificate expire?
      Groundwater Professional Certifications expire at the end of each odd numbered year, and all other UST Professional Certifications expire at the end of even numbered years. For example, Groundwater Professional Certifications will expire on December 31, 2025, December 31, 2027 & December 31, 2029, and UST Professional Certifications will expire on December 31, 2024, December 31, 2026, & December 31, 2028.
    Can I still send in a check to pay for my fees?
      Yes, we accept check payment via mail or by secure dropbox in the lobby of 6200 Park Ave, Des Moines IA 50321. Checks should be made out to the Iowa DNR and MUST be accompanied by the corresponding application(s).
    Do I need to pay both the UST Professional Company certification renewal fee and an UST Professional Individual renewal fee if I am a sole proprietor?
      It may be possible for you to register as a sole proprietor and pay only 1 renewal fee instead of both. Please contact the UST Section Certification Coordinator at ustlicensing@dnr.iowa.gov or 515-681-6932 for information on registering as a sole proprietor.
    I hold both a Groundwater Professional Certification and a UST Remover Certification. Can I combine my renewal applications and only apply once every other year?
      No, the Groundwater Professional Certification is separate from our other UST Professional certifications and runs on its own renewal cycle, and cannot be combined with another renewal application.
    Do I need to pay the $200 renewal fee for each of my UST Professional certifications if I have multiple certifications (Ex: UST Installer, Installation Inspector, Tester, CP Tester)?
      No, an individual can renew all of their current certifications with one renewal application and fee, excluding Groundwater Professional Certifications.
    I don’t see my renewal fees in the DNR Payment Portal and I know I haven’t paid yet.
      The most common reason for this issue is an incomplete renewal application. Please view your dashboard overview to revise and submit your application.
    How can I see how many continuing education hours I have?
      Log into your dashboard and go to your “Trainings” tab. Your continuing education hours for the current renewal period will appear on the top of the page.
