9/27/2023	I talked to Christine Collier about the new cell construction project. They will be installing liner beginning the week of Oct 2, which should take a couple weeks (+-, weather permitting), and following that up with the sand cushion layer and TDA. I plan on visiting the site during the week of Oct 9 to observe some of those installations, and wanted to see if you wanted to conduct your inspection at the same time. My schedule for the week of October 9 is open, so please let me know the time and day during that week so we can coordinate.	MICK LEAT
10/23/2023	Mick and I met at Iowa City Landfill on October 9. We met with Joe, Jennifer and Jason. We discuss the current status of the new cell development and observed the liner being installed. The new cell is projected to be ready for use by January 1, 2024. The new cell is projected to be used for approximately 10 years. A new cell is projected to the NW of the current working face, which will be developed about 5-7 years from now.	RYAN STOUDER
