7/24/2009	Direction of wind is from the north at 25-mph. Marshalltown is downwind. Did we have a rising or sinking plume. ? Chris Demorate went to the south property line to check for odors. Could not detect any Ammonia odors. Better file report with National Response Center. Determine cause/source and make rpairs. 0539 AM - Chris Demorate called me to inform me that response personnel have arrived and determined that purge flare on stack was out and liquid ammonia was forced up the purge flare pipe and flowed down over the tank. No release occurred after I reduced tank pressure at time of DNRs first call to me. Will repair problem.	DNRHSIADMIN
