7/24/2009	The company was unable to recover any of the starch product prior to it entering the Cedar River. Cargil does however intend to place a conductivity meter on the discharge side of the heat exchanger to give an early warning in the event something similar to this happens in the future. With the early warning, measures could reportedly be taken by the company to prevent the waste from reaching the river.	DNRHSIADMIN
