8/24/2017	The Ottumwa Generating Station personnel contacted their internal HAZMAT personnel to the incident. They (Alliant Ottumwa Generating Station) plugged the fuel tank and will be removing the diesel impacted gravel and putting it in barrels for proper disposal. Per Rob Saunders, Alliant OGS will be handling the cleanup and disposal of the diesel impacted gravel.	JON RYK
8/24/2017	Per email from Heather Hoskins of Alliant Energy (received 1046 on 8/24/2017): The company's Haz-Mat team responded immediately and attempted a temporary fix to the tank and the residual fuel was removed from the hindered tank. An absorbent material was applied to the approximately 15 gallons of fuel that was spilled. (original verbal report estimated 10 gallons - HSI report was modified to reflect the revised quantity of fuel spilled) The Wapello County Rural Fire Department responded and also advised on cleanup. Alliant Energy will be handling the disposal and providing the disposal documentation and the 30 day report.	JON RYK
