4/14/2017	Dou Luzbetak of HLW emailed that they began hauling leachate to Des Moines today.	BILL GROSS
4/12/2017	Todd Whipple with HLW Consulting called (515-290-7222) and requested spraying leachate over the initial garbage lift that has been established in the new cell until they can rebuild the loading area for a transport truck to haul leachate to the WRA treatment plant in Des Moines. He said that landfill staff said they were afraid of it overflowing before they can pump any into a transport truck. He said the loading area should be completed by week's end. I told him they could do this if the pond freeboard is less than one foot. I told him they could only bring it down to the one foot freeboard level, and they would need to not saturate the waste and monitor any flow from the waste area.	BILL GROSS
