6/4/2014	Ashley Waller and I conducted a follow-up visit to the site of the Northwood Ag Products fire. We spoke with manager Tim Berge and inspected the fire area. The fire residue was still on site, although it had been consolidated from 17 boxes into 10 boxes. We also spoke with a representative of Clean Harbors who stated that they would soon begin transporting the boxes to the hazardous waste incinerator in Kimball, Nebraska, and it would take approximately one month since they will take one box at a time. We noted that there was a patch of dead grass on the west side of the fire area, which may indicate chemical impacts to surface soil. The results of the surface soil sampling will be used to determine if additional excavation is required in this area.	DAVID MILLER
