11/4/2025	An inspection of the facility's 2019 and 2023 Manure Management Plan (MMP) submissions and records identified five procedural deficiencies, all related to inaccurate plan content and flawed calculations that compromise the integrity of application rates. Specifically, the MMP utilized unapproved nitrogen availability values (violating 567 Iowa Administrative Code (IAC) 65.111(1) , and was found to have incomplete documentation of field operations, utilized inadequate soil data (non-SSURGO), and listed inaccurate supporting practices for RUSLE2 erosion calculations (all in violation of subrule 65.111(6). Furthermore, the plan did not properly account for planned commercial nitrogen application in nutrient balance calculations (violating subrule 65.111(2) and paragraph 65.111(8)"e", resulting in inaccurate maximum allowable manure application rates. All required corrective actions, along with their deadlines, are detailed in the Requirements section of the full report. No evidence of unauthorized discharges was observed during the site visit.
