12/7/2018	Conducted a routine quarterly visit on 7DEC18; met with manager Hunter Brunsvold and viewed the operation. There was some minor exposed trash that had been there more than a day, and I advised Mr. Brunsvold that it must be covered every day. I viewed their leachate evaporation pilot test where they were routing the radiator coolant from the gas plant engines through a small leachate pond. Mr. Brunsvold said they were able to evaporate 1,300 to 1,500 gallons of leachate per day and the technology looked promising since the heat was essentially free. They were in the processing of measuring the sludge accumulation which would be dried out and landfilled.	DAVID MILLER
