4/24/2026	DNR scheduled a site meeting at the landfill involving Brad Davison and Mike Smith (DNR), and engineer Doug Luzbetak, along with county staff and Bob Brunkhorst, Supervisor. The primary objective of the visit was to discuss the proposed Environmental Covenant (EC) and to verify that current site conditions justify moving forward with this phase. Upon completing a thorough observation of the site, the group reached the following conclusions regarding the project timeline and infrastructure: Engineering Evaluation: It was determined that if the ES is finalized prior to this fall, the requirement for a subsequent fall engineering evaluation will be waived. Well Management: Monitoring wells will either need to be properly abandoned or included in a documented maintenance plan to ensure ongoing compliance and site safety. Gas detection was conducted at the scale house at has occurred since construction. No further action will be required by DNR related to this.	AMBER SAUSER
