11/25/2015	I visited the site to assess the discharge of leachate form the western perimeter of compost/pad. Compost material had been removed from the edge of the pad to allow storm water to drain around the compost, into culverts, and into the West leachate collection pond. The drainageway had been temporarily blocked with soil and a permanent berm will be created in the future to ensure all leachate is directed to the pad. Chamness employee Rod Bruner informed me that the collected leachate (past the pad) was pumped into the West leachate pond on 11/18 and 11/19. A total of approximately 3375 gallons was pumped. I collected samples from Palestine Creek. One was taken upstream about 200 feet from the confluence of the creek and the tributary with leachate, one about 20 feet downstream from the confluence, and one about 100 yards downstream of the confluence. Samples will be analyzed at SHL.	BRIAN LEE
