10/24/2002 During the previous inspection in the primary cell I observed a large amount of solid waste items either floating or lodged in the riprap. This waste included A/I tubes antiseptic spray cans writing markers red plastic lids/cups sheets of plastic etc. While solid waste items may accidentally fall into the pits once in a while the amount of waste present in the basin indicates that the waste is intentionally being deposited or being allowed to be deposited in the building pits. Effort needs to be made to clean up the solid waste in/around the basin and due caution needs to be taken in the future to prevent this material from being discharged to the basin. During the current inspection I did not observe nearly as much solid waste in the basin as during the previous inspection.Weed growth must continue to be monitored and controlled . Weed control has been vastly improved since the previous inspection. During the current inspection I observed that waste feed is being dumped on the basin berms. This is improper disposal of solid waste and must stop. Myron stated that he would get this stopped immediately. AfoLOADInsp-2-07/20/2010
