5/9/2005	Matt Rhodes and I visited the above feedlot on May 9 2005 to check separation distances for the proposed structures designed by Settje Agri-Services and Engineering Inc. in association with the distances noted in Table 6-D of Chapter 65 IAC. The plans noted one well located west and center of the existing pens (see Site Map). The distance of the well was measured to be within the 200 feet separation distance for the existing pens but greater than 200 feet for the proposed pens solid settling basins and runoff control structure. Two other wells were located in a feedlot pen east of well #1 (see attached CIR photo). It would appear that these wells would be within 200 feet of the proposed solid settling structures and possibly within 400 feet of the runoff control basin. However Mr. Schechinger stated that they planned on closing these wells prior to construction.The distance of the well #1 was found to be approximately 468 feet away from the proposed settling structure (estimating the approximate location of the settling structure to the fence line). It also appeared to be upgradient from potential runoff.All distances were measured using a Laser Rangefinder	AfoLOADInsp-2-07/20/2010
