12/22/2010	I stopped by the CRLCSWA #2 site on October 7, 2010 and met with John Foster, the site supervisor. The purpose of this visit was to observed the progress being made to fill the new cell. At this time, approximately 3 weeks of household garbage had been placed in the new cell. The garbage was being placed so that there was about 5' at the lowest point between the underlying drainage system and the top of the trash. The Tire Chip issue has been resolved by qualitative testing of the line system which showed that the bead wire was not puncturing the liner. Mr. Foster thougt that the agency would not have any problem getting the initial garbage layer put in place by the advent of cold weather. Mr. Foster also informed me that there would be a "waste sort" taking place at the landfill between October 18 and 22. He encouraged me to stop by at that time to observe the process.	DOUG HAWKER
