6/27/2023	I conducted a site inspection/visit to follow up on the closed landfill for the City of Keokuk. The City hired a contractor to address the leachate collection system. It has been a very dry spring and I observed leachate seep conveying into the dry stream bed. I spoke with Mr. Carroll with the City of Keokuk. He seemed to be aware of the area of concern and indicated that Klinger & Associates had relayed the same concerns to the City. He would look into the issue further and address the seep.
