1/6/2012	On August 30, 2011, I stopped by the Dubuque County landfill to recon the damage done by the previous month's 15.5" rainfall event and subsequent flash flood of Catfish Creek. Doug Hughes, the landfill operator was not available on this date. I reconned the area of the landfill where Catfish Creek passes through. Mostly, the area has been brought back to preflood condition. I talked to an unnamed landfill worker on this date. Overall, the damage at this location was minimal compared to many other places in the County south of Highway 20.	DOUG HAWKER
