8/26/2022	Composting occurs on a high spot in the sw corner of the property. Chicken waste including carcasses, egg shells, cardboard egg trays etc is mixed with shredded cardboard, cattle manure, corn stalks etc. and placed in wind rows. The wind rows were well formed, evenly spaced with little carcasses exposed. There was no rancid odor but more of an earthy musty smell. The chicken waste and bulking materials are stored an mixed on the ne corner of the site on concrete where manure from the cattle barns is stockpiled. Although this area is within the required minimum of 500 fett to the nearest residence for composting this area is considered more of a staging area for the compost materials. Mr. Herrold indicated that they store chicken waste here until they get enough to create a new windmill at the SW corner. They are able to easily mix the cattle manure here as well as the shredded cardboard etc. No violations were observed at the time of this inspection. See attached pictures.	BERT NOLL
