7/27/2021	On June 22, after quite a few attempts, I met with Mike Butikofer at his office and reviewed his NMP. The NMP did not specify for incorporation within 24 hours on the fields in question. Application records and manure application rates appeared to match with the NMP. I spoke to Mike about manure application near sink holes and we also discussed separation distance requirements. We also discussed a site he rents, Lenth Feedlot # 70834. There were some potential runoff issues from the inspection I completed this year. I sent Mike a copy of the manure application separation distance requirements, open feedlot manure stockpiling regulations, and a link to AFO siting atlas.	BRETT MEYERS
7/27/2021	On 4/22/21 I met with the property owners and examined the manure application. The manure had been incorporated on 4/18. There was no manure runoff and there was a grove of trees between the fence line from the field and the well. I discussed the well depth and well construction methods with the owner and recommended they contact the county to have the well tested. There did not appear to be a violation since the grove of trees would be considered a 50' buffer.	BRETT MEYERS
