8/25/2017	I spoke with J.D. with Mahaska Pork on 8/25/17. The sheriff's department was also called on the complaint and visited the site. There were several dead sows in the rendering bin but no issues noted. They do have buzzards that frequent the area. Rendering is called on an as needed basis but sometimes it takes a few days for them to pick up the animals. They are considering building a fence around the bin for aesthetics. I asked that they keep the area near the bin clean and to call rendering frequently so that dead animals don't accumulate. No further action.	BRYAN BUNTON
