9/10/2024 MV issued. Operator is working to get instrumentation. AARON PICKENS
6/26/2024 Looking over the MOR for Sleepy Hollow and there are several issues with it. 1) The yellow highlighted areas need to be filled out. 2) It is unclear what system the reported distribution chlorine residuals are for (950 or 951). 3) This facility has two distribution systems as noted above. Chlorine residuals are required to be measured daily and reported from both of them. 4) I see no data for hardness, pH, and blend ratio reported. These are required as they have mandatory treatment for radium reduction. I think Brian Portwood was working to get instrumentation for #4. I have reached out via email to Portwood with these issues and to check on status. MV likely warranted. AARON PICKENS
6/26/2024 Discussed with the caller requirements of a PWS. Self-Monitoring, lab sampling, operator requirements, etc. DNR is aware of recent personnel changes including their certified operator. Reviewed most recent MOR and there are several issues with it which will be addressed with the new operator. Drinking water data portal link was send to the complainant AARON PICKENS
