5/5/2016	Received corrective action response (attached) on 5/2/16 that described the actions taken to date to stop the manure from entering the storm water system and planned changes to the manure hauling process in the future to prevent contamination. I sent an email stating the actions are acceptable and a follow up inspection will be completed in the future to verify controls are still functioning.	DANIEL WATTERSON
4/21/2016	Investigation found egg wash water had been applied north of the facility resulting in some runoff under the road and into a grass water way but not to the river. Additional investigation found the site's storm water runoff comes in contact with dry manure stored in uncovered bunkers and discharges into a tile intake in the road ditch west of the site. Sample results showed elevated levels of ammonia and COD of the water entering the intake. A NOV is being issued requiring changes/improvements be made to prevent the discharge.	DANIEL WATTERSON
