3/12/2010	Per Aaron Sasson, Environmental Specialist, Rembrandt Enterprises, Rembrandt, Iowa, turkey manure from Thompson, Iowa, is being hauled to Benson, MN, and burned for energy. The ashes as returned to Forest City, Iowa (Jeff Holland said the property is being leased by Rembrandt), and mixed with turkey manure (50:50 ratio) in the Quonset building. The mixture is being stored in the Quonset building until it can be applied to farm fields this spring. This operation is being conducted under Chapter 200, COI as they have a permit from IDALs. In a conference call, it was the opinion of Gene Tinker and Bob Palla that this is not improper storage of confinement manure (i.e. our regulations do not apply). Therefore, there is no violation of the cafo rules and no further action is needed.	CLAY SWANSON
