7/26/2019	On July 26, 2019, Grady Kragenbring, IDNR, and I responded to the complaint that liquid manure was being dumped at the Rembrandt Enterprises chicken facility north of Thompson. We met Greg Kemnitz at the gate to the facility at approximately 10:30 am. Greg offered to drive us around the facility. He took us past all of the production buildings and litter storage buildings. We observed some pools of rain water in various places around the production buildings and on the concrete aprons going into the litter storage buildings. The litter storage buildings are roofed and fully contained. There was a pile wood chips piled near the back of the facility but there were no uncovered/uncontrolled litter. All water was ponded and contained on site with no evidence of run-off or discharge. I contacted the auditors office and reported the complaint and the result of the investigation. No further action is required.	DAN BRATRUD
