3/25/2013	This complaint is the same as 13732 filed by F.O.#2 - However Sue Johnson, Solid Waste ADP section has addded additional information on Midwest Scrap Metal owners. Much of the information supplied by Sue Johnson, was information on the location of the current owners, as told to her, however the locations and addresses were for the previous owner, Steve Pottebaum, who has also moved several times since he sold the business several years ago. Information gained from site investigations related to a hydraulic oil spill (complaint # 14456) from Midwest's Baler at 2501 Garden Rd, Des Moines, Ia. actually led to the closure of this complaint # 13737 and the previous complaint #13732. As a result of cleaning up the oil spill, Graig Pippett, owner, and his son Mark Pippett, operator, will be applying for a permit to demanufacture appliances. They also know that they cannot use Steve Pottebaums ADP permit as a reference when they are responding to proposals for baling activities at sanitary landfills, of community spring cleanups.
