2/19/2016	I called and spoke with Communications Director Joe Horaney. Mr. Horaney stated that the landfill was currently closed due to wind conditions and that there are currently 5 staff and 5 temporary employees picking up litter. Mr. Horaney also stated that they would be working on picking up litter through the weekend and next week. The agency has agreements with neighboring landowners to access private property to remove litter and that is what they will be doing. Mr. Horaney stated that they recorded winds up to 54 mph today.
