8/10/2018	Spoke with John Klosterman, Public Works Director. This is in an area of know sewer problems and they have been manually pumping sewage out of the area. Samples collected on 8/9/18 to see if the area of water mentioned in the complaint was actually sewage or just storm water from the recent rains and the receding Mississippi. The sewage odor is most likely coming from a nearby manhole that has been venting for unknown reasons. A written response will follow once lab results obtained.	MICHELE SMITH
